What is your favourite book writer?

Lately I was wondering what my favourite writer was... I have read several books and I think that the best one is Stephen King. The way he describe people and places is just amazing! Currently I`m reading one of his book: "Talisman" which is about a boy who tries to save his mother and flips between two worlds. I`m in the middle of the book but so far it`s great!
